THE COLLECTION

We are a new and growing library and are working on expanding our collection. Our nonfiction collections have a focus on critical theory, social movements, leftist political history, local history and geography, and DIY guides. Our fiction collections have a focus on friendship, nature, and anti-authoritarian struggle. We also offer poetry, graphic novels, and youth fiction and nonfiction.

ACCESSI-BILITY

READING GROUPS

Our stacks are located on the second floor, which is accessible by one flight of stairs with handrails. To access the library collections from the first floor, please browse our online catalog at https://tamarack.libib.com/ , inform a staff member of your selections, and they will retrieve books for you from upstairs. If you have a library card, you can also place holds online after creating an account, and you can pick up your books at the register (see “Patron Info” below)

We are working toward offering sets of books for use in reading groups. If there is a title in our catalog that you would like to read with your friends, let us know and we will try to order more copies.

GOALS

We seek to grow our collection by incorporating more materials in the following areas: Spanish language literature, young adult and children's books, queer and trans literature and theory, and zines. What else would you like to see in the library? Let us know.

DONATIONS

We accept donations of any books in good condition. Due to limited shelf space, we are unable to guarantee that your books will be added to the catalog. We may resell some donated books to raise funds for library supplies.
